Egypt online webinar

On the 7th of December 2024, we hosted a highly engaging webinar on Microsoft Teams titled: “Establishing Female Academic Networks: A Pathway for Better Addressing and Managing Women Under-Representation in Senior Leadership Ranks in Egyptian Universities (TASHBEEK).”

This landmark event brought together university vice presidents, college deans, and senior leaders from across Egypt, marking a pivotal step toward addressing gender disparities in academic leadership. Insightful discussions, active engagement, and strong support for this initiative enriched the webinar. Participants generously shared their experiences, expertise, and visions, fostering a spirit of optimism for a more inclusive academic future.

The webinar also marked the launch of our newly approved and funded succeeding project, titled: “Towards Advancing and Securing HE Legislation for the Representation of Females in Executive Leadership in Egypt. (TASHREE)”
This project builds on the foundation laid by TASHBEEK, further advancing our mission to create sustainable change and enhance female representation in executive leadership roles within Egypt’s higher education institutions.
